Our History

Forty years of experience, over 160 employees and a network of professionals built around you.

Verlingue in Italy was founded, under the name Inser, in 1979 in Trento – an insurance brokerage firm established by a group of highly qualified professionals with a clear vision of how to connect with the market: in-depth sector expertise combined with a personal and exclusive client relationship.Just over a year later, Istituto Atesino di Sviluppo S.p.A. – a holding company with interests in the financial, banking, industrial, energy, environmental, real estate and insurance sectors – joined our shareholding structure. With over 90 years of history, this partnership enabled Inser to unlock its full potential, marking the beginning of rapid growth that has earned us growing recognition within the industry. What has always set us apart, both then and now, is our ability to deeply understand the markets and sectors in which businesses and public administrations operate on a daily basis. As we gained new market share in the industrial and banking sectors, the need for expansion became clear: Inser opened a second office in Brescia in 1996, followed by offices in Vicenza and Milan. Between 2010 and 2020, we completed the acquisitions of Studio Garulli Insurance Broker Srl, S. Lorenzo Srl, and Professional Brokers Associati Srl (PBA).Between 2022 and 2023, we acquired Agibroker Srl in Vicenza, Assibroker Srl in Langhirano (PR), and EnneEmme Srl in Udine, and inaugurated our new office in Udine. In July 2023, Verlingue – an independent international insurance broker run by a family for four generations – chose Inser to enter the Italian insurance market and strengthen its position in Europe, acquiring a majority stake in the company. In 2024, we successfully completed two further acquisitions in strategic economic areas of the Italian market.A new chapter has just begun: new opportunities, new technologies, and new perspectives on the future are waiting to be explored — together.
