Verlingue and Sport: support for Trento's sporting excellence
Aquila Basket, Trento Calcio and Trentino Volley: Verlingue is focusing on local sports through a three-year sponsorship programme to promote values and well-being.
Through its Charity Programme, Verlingue Spa is supporting local sports initiatives, in line with the United Nations' 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. The programme focuses on promoting more inclusive and supportive communities and supports three sporting excellence initiatives in the city of Trento: Aquila Basket Trento, Trento Football Club and Trentino Volley. Aquila Basket Trento is one of the leading realities of Italian basketball. Founded in 1995, it reached Serie A in 2014, establishing itself as a key player in the championship by reaching two finals. Verlingue has chosed to continue its collaboration with the team by allocating a contribution of 45,000 euros over three years (2023-2025). This support will strengthens the company's presence among the main sponsors, helping to consolidate Aquila Basket's position as an emblem a symbol of local sport. Trento Calcio is another pillar of Trentino sport. Born Founded in 1921, it the club currently plays in Serie C, proudly representing the city of Trento. Verlingue, Through a contribution of 15,000 euros spread over three years, Verlingue aims to support the growth of local football, joining the region's leading companies in supporting the club. Finally, Trentino Volley, one of the most successful and prestigious clubs in Italian and international volleyball. Verlingue's supports them with an investment of 15,000 euros over three years. Founded in 2000, Trentino Volleyball has already won numerous trophies, including four World Club Championships and three Champions Leagues, positioning establishing itself as a leading presence in the sports scene. These sponsorships demonstrate Verlingue's commitment to promoting the values of sport, wellbeing and inclusion, offering a tangible contribution to the development of the Trentino region and its sporting excellence.
